School Hours

Meyer Elementary is part of Lamar CISD’s Elementary Group B schedule.

Our school day begins promptly at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 3:10 p.m. To ensure students are ready to learn, we encourage them to arrive with enough time to be in their classrooms before the school day begins.

The building opens at 7:10 a.m. for students who wish to eat breakfast. For student safety, supervision is not available before 7:10 a.m., so students should not arrive on campus prior to that time unless they are participating in a school-sponsored activity.

Dismissal begins at 3:10 p.m. and is typically complete by 3:30 p.m. Students who have not been picked up by 3:30 p.m. are considered late pick-ups. We appreciate your help in ensuring students are picked up promptly each afternoon.
