We’re just 10 days away from the first day of school. Can you believe it? The excitement is building, and we can’t wait to welcome our Eagles back for an amazing year!
As we get ready to soar into a new school year, here’s a quick checklist:
âś… Have you completed registration and submitted all required documents?
🚌 Have you filled out the transportation form for your child?
đź“„ Have you finished the beginning-of-year forms?
Don’t forget: Meet the Teacher is next Thursday, and we are looking forward to seeing all of our Eagle families back on campus! 💙

Parents who have not completed the transportation form for their students received a final email and text this morning. If you were on that list, PLEASE log in to Skyward and complete that form before Sunday, August 3. |
The race to the first day of school is on and we want every student at the starting line! If you plan for your child to begin school on Monday, August 11, all enrollment and required documents must be submitted by Tuesday, August 5.
After August 5, enrollment will pause and resume on the second day of school, Tuesday, August 12.
Don’t miss the chance to start the year strong: Ready, Set, GOAL! Let’s cross that finish line together by completing enrollment on time!

MEYER HAS THE BEST PARENTS! 69% of of you have already completed your child's beginning of year forms!
If you haven't done so already, PLEASE complete the forms this weekend. These must be submitted before Meet the Teacher on August 7.
Important: If your forms aren't complete, your child will not receive their schedule, and you’ll be sent to the computer lab to fill them out onsite. Don’t make us do this to you! We want you to spend your time meeting your child’s teacher, not stuck doing paperwork!

Kick off the school year with fun, food, and friendly faces! Join us on Saturday, August 2 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Lamar Consolidated High School (4606 Mustang Ave.) for a morning full of carnival games, music, food, and more, all for FREE!

Get ready to start the school year off on the right track! Join us for Meet the Teacher Night on Thursday, August 7 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
Families who have completed the Beginning of Year forms in Skyward will receive their student’s schedule and can race down the halls to visit classrooms and meet this year’s teachers. It’s also the perfect time to drop off school supplies, lightening the load for the first day of school!
We can’t wait to see you at the starting line as we gear up for a great year ahead. Let’s get Ready, Set, GOAL!

Help us give our Eagles the warmest welcome back to school! Join us on Sunday, August 10 from 3:30–4:30 p.m. to decorate the sidewalks leading up to the school with colorful chalk art and encouraging messages.
We'll provide the sidewalk chalk, all you need to bring is your creativity and school spirit! Let’s show our students just how excited we are for the 2025–2026 school year!

Start your engines—it’s time to hit the track! The first day of school is Monday, August 11, and we’re excited to welcome our students back for a year full of learning, growth, and reaching GOALS!
Doors open at 7:10 a.m. and staff will be ready to help everyone find their way to the right classroom. Don’t forget to bring a big smile and be ready to take the first lap toward a successful school year!

Meyer will be conducting vision and hearing screenings for the following students:
🔹 All students new to LCISD
🔹 All EE (4-year-old), PK, Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade students
If you do not wish for your child to participate in these screenings, please contact Nurse Merta by August 19. A permission denial form will be sent home and must be signed by a parent or guardian.
