We kicked off the week with a student holiday on Monday. We hope you enjoyed the extra day to relax and spend time with family!
Our 2nd, 4th, and 5th graders had an exciting Innovative Day experience with a special visit from the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Students dove into the fascinating world of reptiles, exploring their characteristics, habitats, and unique adaptations through an engaging, hands-on presentation. It was a wonderful opportunity to bring science to life and spark curiosity in our young learners.
Thursday was full of adventure as well! Our 2nd graders enjoyed an exciting field trip to the Downtown Aquarium, where they explored marine life and experienced hands-on learning beyond the classroom. Meanwhile, our 5th graders visited Long Acres Ranch, where they connected learning to history and the outdoors through an engaging, real-world experience.
It was truly a great week to be a Meyer Eagle! 🦅
